Let’s go paddling!
Waves sparkle, reeds and abundant birdlife invite you to the lake Höytiäinen. You can experience sunsets or morning mists on the safe ride of a pair of canoes. One canoe fits two people, it is also possible to rent separate canoes. When booking, we will give you instructions on life jackets, paddles and a recommendation for safer routes in North part of lake Höytäinen.

Go for it with snowshoes!
The forests of Venejoki Piilo are perfect for snowshoeing! You can follow the tracks of a snowmobile or wander in a pristine forest. You can also take the shoes with you and test the grip on Koli’s amazingly marked trails! You can choose the appropriate size snowshoes from the canopy yourself and return them to their place after use.
20 € / snowshoe rental. Includes one pair of snowshoes, ski poles if desired and a carrying bag for the shoes. We will teach how to use the shoes when necessary, inquire also about a guided excursion!

Grandma’s bikes to the beach or blueberry picking!
You can borrow a couple of good old-fashioned Helkama bicycles from us, work up a sweat on your way back from the beach uphill to Piilo. No gears, just real pedaling. Please don’t keep bikes for yourself for the whole day, so that the other guests also get the chance to experience nostalgia
